0014 / W911S011D0015 - THE PURPOSE OF THIS PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT IS TO SUSTAIN AN MC COE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) BRANCH THAT SUPPORTS, ENHANCES, AND ENABLES THE PROGRESSION OF MC COE S ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THE MC COE ORGANIZATION USED IN THE CONTEXT OF THIS DOCUMENT CONSISTS OF THE MC COE HEADQUARTERS ELEMENT TO INCLUDE ITS BRANCHES. AS AN ARMY ORGANIZATION, CENTER OF EXCELLENCE, AND HEADQUARTERS, MC COE HAS RESPONSIBILITIES TO BOTH SUBORDINATE AND HIGHER CHAIN OF COMMAND ORGANIZATIONS. MC COE S FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS RELY HEAVILY ON AN IT INFRASTRUCTURE; MULTIPLE NETWORKS (I.E. NIPR AND SIPR) AND NETWORK/APPLICATION INTEGRATION. AS WITH THE ORGANIZATION, THE IT TEAM IS EXPECTED TO BE AGILE AND ADAPTIVE: TEAM MEMBERS (CONTRACTORS) ARE EXPECTED TO BE CROSS FUNCTIONALLY TRAINED, SUPPORT MULTIPLE ROLES AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM S SUCCESS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MC COE INFORMATION SYSTEM/TECHNOLOGY INFRASTRUCTURE SUSTAINMENT AND OPERATIONS FOR APPROXIMATELY 250 DESKTOPS ON MULTIPLE NETWORKS, WITHIN MCCOE.
